Ralyn Speerly Schraceo
Under The Rainbow

I learned to crochet at the age of 4, while getting my tonsils out. It was intended to only keep me out of the nurses hair, but I was having fun. My love for crafting was further encouraged by both of my grandmothers. I dabbled in just about every type of craft that I could get my hands on. I began Under The Rainbow in 1989, as Ralyn Speerly, Specialty Gifts. I legally registered our company name in 1993 after a customer had asked what all I made and sold. My reply was, "everything under the rainbow," and it stuck. I was encouraged by a dear friend to incorporate my own crafts into the company, then later began to take in other Crafter's items at a stationary little spot in Yorkville, IL. I ended up shutting down due to moving and lack of a reasonably priced location. I still sold specialty gifts and my crafts from my home and by stocking local restaurants and gas stations. I knew there just had to be a better way -- My dream of an online craft mall began. I diligently started teaching myself web design, which is the reason you are looking at these pages today. I probably spend more time on web design these days than my other crafts, but I love what I'm doing - after all, web design is simply another form of crafting. My goal is to help other crafters market their crafts affordably on the internet.

Iowa Goat Milk Soap

I'm married with 3 sons and 2 grandsons. I have been making and selling quality luxury soaps and lotions online for several years. All of my bath products are handmade, fresh to order, and I try to please everyone. My husband got me started on making soaps and bath supplies - he bought me a kit for christmas. That was all it took to discover my love for making quality soaps and bath products for everyone at very affordable prices.

Been crafting and creating most of my life! I love repurposing and hate the word trash...in my world, it's "inventory".
